Kaiser-Franz-Josef Hütten

Situated in one of the most attractive destinations of Austria, in Hochfügen in the Tyrolean Zillertal, in perfect position directly at the pistes. The huts are accessible by car in Summer and in Winter up to 50 m. The parking lot is in a distance of 150 m. In Winter: Winter equipment (chains) necessary! Nearby, there is a catered house in Tyrolean Style, where the guests can seize the traditional and local specialities and enchanting evenings (open only in Winter and when lifts are operating). Domestic animals are welcome in the Kaiser Franz Josef Hütte.

Directly at the ski resort Hochfügen (1.500 m - 2.400 m) with 10 cableways and lifts and over 43 km of tracks. Ski tours, free ride area, powder snow slopes, pistes with flood light, toboggan run with flood light, comfortable sunny terraces, hands free access system at the lifts. On the nearby Spieljoch another 21 km of tracks. The ski pass Zillertal provides ski fun without limits in the whole valley. Broad pistes without trees for perfect Carving, cross-country tracks, and Snowboarding – Winter fun at it’s best! New since winter 2004/2005: Connection to the resort Hochzillertal – 145 km of pistes and 33 modern installations.

In summer optimal starting point for all Summer activities: Hiking and promenades in original and natural regions, Climbing, Paragliding, Rafting, Cannoning, Swimming in the Adventure Centre, Summer Ski on the glacier of Tux, Horse back riding. You can go directly from Fügen with the comfortable cableways in the hiking-paradise Spieljoch-Kellerjoch. The top-station at an altitude of 1.865 m is starting point for hiking excursions. A children’s playground directly at the top-station of the Spieljoch is equipped with trampoline, slides and swings, climbing tower, sand case and much more. While the little ones seize the unlimited fun in the park, the parents can have a break on the big sunny terrace!
