Chalet Wildberg

The Chalet Wildberg was newly built in spring 2016 combining modern and traditional elements. Luxurious and comfortable Chalet offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The entire interior was lovingly handcrafted by an experienced carpenter. You can spend relaxing hours in the unique stone bathtub on the terrace! The nearest town is Großarl, about one kilometer away. This route can also be easily covered on foot. Großarl is a well-known and lively holiday resort with a wide range of activities for families and sports enthusiasts. There are numerous cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and clothing stores in Grossarl. Chalet Wildberg can be reached by car all year round. There are parking spaces directly in front of the chalet. A morning bread roll service can be arranged for an additional cost. A pet is welcome.

In Grossarl - the "Valley of Alpine pastures" you will find unlimited hiking opportunities in summer. There are over 250 kilometers of marked hiking trails with over 40 managed alpine pastures. The tourism association also offers guided hikes. The via ferrata through the Hüttschlager Wand in Hüttschlag is ideal for demanding and experienced hikers. This via ferrata has a height of 210 meters to overcome.
Mountain bikers don't miss out in Grossarl either. There are countless kilometers of developed mountain bike trails. On hot summer days, guests can cool off in the Großarl adventure swimming pool with a beach volleyball court, tennis courts, mini golf and a soccer field with artificial turf.
Children can let off steam in “Rucki Zucki’s Gaudi-Alm”. For a family day out, there is Hohenwerfen Castle with a bird of prey show as well as the Eisriesenwelt, Lichtensteinklamm in St. Johann or the Hüttschlag National Park Museum.

Skiers, snowboarders as well as tourers and cross-country skiers get their money's worth in the Großarl/Dorfgastein ski area - "Ski Amadé". "Ski Amadé" offers over 860 kilometers of slopes and 270 modern lifts. Chalet Wildberg is only 900 meters from the nearest ski slope away. So the skiing fun can begin right from the Chalet. It is approx. 600 meters to the next ski school.
The Großarltal also has a lot to offer away from the ski slopes. For example, sledding or tobogganing. To relax after an active day of winter sports, the Großarltal offers horse-drawn sleigh rides.
The ice skating rink in the Großarltal leisure center is available to all guests free of charge. If the weather is bad, we recommend a trip to the Mozart city of Salzburg or a shopping spree in St. Johann im Pongau.
