Welcome to a Heidi Hütte in Döllach. The Heidi Hut is a very special, unique cabin that cannot be found anywhere else. This cabin originally served as a stable at an altitude of 2,000 meters. The owner dismantled the Heidi Hütte with great effort and rebuilt it with great attention to detail by using ecological construction. Now the Heidi Hütte is located in one of the largest nature reserves in Central Europe, directly on the Großglockner, the Hohe Tauern National Park. Heidi Hütte has been modernized, but great importance was attached to its original preservation. Cabin is prowided with electricity, there is modern bathroom and a comfortable kitchen. Due to its natural materials, the Heid Hütte is ideal for allergy sufferers. There is space for a maximum of three guests in a double bed and a loft bed.
The owner's family hotel is located on the property. Guests of the Heidi Hütte and Schlosswirt Chalets can take part in the breakfast buffet if they wish. Of course, the restaurant with beer garden and the cozy bar in the hotel are also available to guests.
The owner of the Heidi Hütte is a nature lover. Animals shouldn't be missing. There is a rustic stable on the property. The in-house petting zoo includes, for example: rabbits, donkeys, chickens, cows, Swabian-Hallian pigs and goats. Guests are invited to take part in the daily feeding (only possible to a limited extent in summer). Donkey hikes are offered upon request.
The nearest shops are only around 200 meters from the cabin. There are sufficient parking spaces available on the property for guests of the Heidi Hütte. Pets are welcome.

The Heidi Hütte is just a few minutes' drive from the Heiligenblut-Grossglockner ski area. The ski bus stop is right in front of the cabin.
In the Heiligenblut-Grossglockner ski area you can expect:

In summer, the region around the Heidi Hütte and the Großglockner offers numerous leisure activities. Whether it's a leisurely hike or sports activity. The Hohe Tauern National Park ensures that there is no chance of boredom for both young and old.
Not far from the Heidi Hütte there is a 16 meter high climbing tower with 35 different routes (UIAA difficulty level 3-8). For beginners and children there is a flat side with easy children's routes. Slackline system with mounted slacklines.
The popular natural swimming pool is also not far from the cabin. In the natural swimming pool in Döllach, ecological and economic compatibility is combined with a high quality of use. Swimming fun without chemicals. The offers in the Döllach natural swimming pool include a swimmer's and non-swimmer's area, diving area, diving tower, rope climbing garden, water slide, water play facilities for children, beach volleyball court, sand play pit with awning and benches as well as a lawn area with trees for a shade.
There is a horse farm opposite the Heidi Hütte. Here guests can book horseback rides or carriage rides.
The Heidi Hütte in Grosskirchheim is located in the middle of the region - Hohe Tauern National Park - the largest protected area in the Alps!
