Hütte im Moor

The Hütte im Moor is located in the Lienzinger Moos landscape conservation area. Pure nature and moorland, as well as the nearby Chiemsee, are the special features all year round. The cabin is very popular with cyclists and water sports enthusiasts.
In front of the house there is the extensive moor and forest area with many footpaths and cycle paths to explore the Eggstätter lake district or the Chiemsee. In addition to the dreamy landscape, there is also a lot to discover culturally.
Restaurants and shops: The "Utz" farm café can also be reached in 30 minutes on foot. In Eggstätt: Edeka market, pharmacy, ice cream parlor, Gasthof Unterwirt, "Jakob" restaurant with tapas, "Jim and Joe" bakery next to the church, café on Seeoner Strasse, Hermes post office, fish farm, small guest house in the moor and much more.

Parking spaces are located a few meters from the cabin in the shade of the forest.

The rustic log cabin is 80 years old and has been lovingly renovated and insulated in recent years. Everything is ecological. Gas heating on the upper floor with no environmental impact. The heating is operated with exhaust-free liquid gas, no CO2 emissions, no fine dust. The wastewater is treated by our own biological treatment plant. A spacious dormer window to the south and 6 large roof windows to the north light up the spacious upper floor from the bottom. The moorland property (3,000m²) offers a large extendable awning with a table, bench and garden chairs on the south wall of the cabin. A place to relax and unwind in the beautiful nature. For children, play equipment such as 2 swings, a children's slide and a dreamy children's house in the nearby forest are favorites. The area is not fenced due to "landscape protection". Caution is requested when entering the unmown meadow areas, as the ground is soft and wet. The meadow is mown once a year because of the diverse moor flora.

Chiemsee awarded again!
The Chiemsee is the most popular lake in Bavaria - this was the result of a vote by the online portal Seen.de. The Chiemsee thus defends its top spot from 2023. In the Germany-wide ranking, the Chiemsee comes in sixth place. This means that the Bavarian lake prevails against 2000 other German lakes as a travel and excursion destination. It is the second award for the Chiemsee in a short time. In a vote by the German National Tourist Board, the Chiemsee recently landed among the 100 most popular sights in Germany.
