Kuschelchalet

Welcome to your future favorite place. Our romantic cozy chalet lets you forget your everyday life. Charmingly and comfortably furnished, the Kuschelchalet offers enough space for two adults and two children. The chalet is located in one of the largest nature reserves in Central Europe - the Hohe Tauern National Park.

The owner's family hotel is still located on the same property. Guests of the Kuschelchalet can use the breakfast buffet upon request. Of course, the restaurant with beer garden and the cozy bar in the hotel are also available to the guests. It is also possible to book half board at the hotel.
The owner is a nature and animal lover. There is a rustic stable on the property. The in-house petting zoo includes, for example: rabbits, donkeys, chickens, cows, Swabian-Hallian pigs and goats. Guests are invited to take part in the daily feeding (only possible on request in summer). Donkey hikes are offered at guests' request.
The nearest shops are only around 200 meters from the chalet. Guests have plenty of parking spaces available by house. Pets are welcome.

The Kuschelchalet is just a few minutes' drive from the Heiligenblut-Grossglockner ski area. The ski bus stop is right in front of the Chalet.
In the Heiligenblut-Grossglockner ski area you can expect:

In summer, the region around the Kuschelchalet and the Großglockner offers numerous leisure activities. The Hohe Tauern National Park ensures that there is no chance of boredom for both young and old.

Not far from the chalet there is a 16 meter high climbing tower with 35 different routes (UIAA difficulty level 3-8). For beginners and children there is a flat side with easy children's routes. Slackline system with mounted slacklines.
The popular natural swimming pool is also not far from the Kuschelchalet. In the natural swimming pool in Döllach, ecological and economic compatibility is combined with a high quality of use. Swimming fun without chemicals. The offers in the Döllach natural swimming pool include, among other things, a swimmer's area, non-swimmer's area, diving area, diving tower, rope climbing garden, water slide, water play facilities for children, beach volleyball court, sand play pit with awning and benches as well as a lawn area with trees.

There is a horse farm near the chalet. Here guests can book horseback rides or carriage rides.
The Kuschelchalte in Grosskirchheim is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park - the largest protected area in the Alps! Sport, action or just relaxing - it definitely won't be boring here. The untouched landscapes offer wonderful hiking trails, varied excursion destinations along thundering waterfalls and fragrant pine forests.
