Chalet description and exposure
The Landeckalm is located at an altitude of almost 1,700 meters in a pristine valley, in the middle of the dreamlike, high alpine scenery of the East Tyrolean mountains. Here you spend an unforgettable holiday.
The interior of the 140-year-old hut Landeckalm was lovingly handcrafted by the owner, an experienced carpenter, self-made: quaint and original as before, yet equipped with the necessary comfort. The nearest village is Matrei and 8 km away. Matrei has many cafés, restaurants and supermarkets. The Landeckalm can be reached by car via a gravel road. Parking for 2 cars is available directly in front of the hut. Pets are welcome.

Summer information
You are in the middle of the national park region Hohe Tauern Osttirol. More than 150 three-thousand meter high mountains and the two highest mountains in Austria - the Großglockner 3798 m & the Großvenediger 3666 m right on the doorstep - waiting for you. This area is also very popular with motorcyclists and mountain bikers. Directly behind the hut there is a climbing wall with carabiner only for the guests of the huts of the Landeckalm. After an eventful day of hiking, you can enjoy the summer evening on the terrace.
