Oberpranterhütte

The Oberpranterhütte is in a wonderful, secluded location at 1,900 m above sea level in the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday region at the end of the Altfasstal and is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. The hut was traditionally built in 1990 and you can expect relaxing holidays with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The managed Wieserhütte and the Pranter Stadelhütte are only 1 km away. In the closest town of Meransen (approx. 8 km) you will find grocery stores and restaurants.
Access is possible with your own car via a forest road. Parking is available directly in front of the hut. Pets (max. 2 dogs) are very welcome!

The hut is located in the very beautiful hiking area Gitschberg Jochtal on the sunny side with an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains. This region is more varied and exciting than almost anywhere else. In addition to mountain hikes with a wonderful panoramic view, you can also expect interesting themed trails. Experience unforgettable moments in this unique mountain world.
