Paul's Alm

Paul’s Alm is located at an altitude of almost 1,700 meters in an untouched valley, in the middle of the wonderful, high alpine backdrop of the East Tyrolean mountains. The Paul’s Alm was renovated in a modern and traditional design. The interior of the 100-year-old cabin was lovingly handcrafted by the owner himself. Here you will experience an unforgettable holiday. The next town of Matrei can be reached in 8 km. There are numerous cafés, restaurants and supermarkets in Matrei. Paul’s Alm can only be booked in summer and is reached via a gravel road. There is a parking space for 1 car directly in front of the house. The owner will be happy to provide you with a four-wheel drive vehicle for an extra charge. Pets are welcome at Paul’s Alm.

You are in the middle of the Hohe Tauern East Tyrol National Park region. Over 150 three-thousanders and the two highest mountains in Austria - the Großglockner 3,798 m & the Großvenediger 3,666 m - are waiting for you right on your doorstep. This area is also very popular with motorcyclists and mountain bikers. After an eventful day of hiking, you can end the summer evening comfortably on the terrace.
