Prenner Alm

The newly built Prenner Alm is located in the middle of beautiful nature, directly in the ski area at the Prenner slope on Hauser Kaibling. Two comfortable alpine cabins for 11 people each were built here. When building the cabins, great emphasis was placed on the use of high-quality natural materials and a typical local architectural style. The rustic atmosphere invites you to linger and relax with quality, comfort and, above all, cosiness. The Schladming-Dachstein region is characterized by natural landscapes, warm people and modern infrastructure. Between the magnificent southern faces of the Dachstein and the Schladminger Tauern you will find all the highlights that the alpine winter has to offer. A special experience is the Dachstein Glacier with the Dachstein Glacier Cable Car, the “Dachstein Sky Walk” viewing platform and the “Dachstein Ice Palace”. The town of Haus with grocery stores and restaurants is only about two kilometers away from the cabins. Only nine kilometers away is Schladming, the venue for the World Ski Championships. The cabins can be reached by car all year round. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the house. Pets are welcome in the Prenner Alm.

Strap on your skis and go! The Prenner Alm offers the perfect location for ski access directly at the Prenner run 2a on Hauser Kaibling and direct ski access to the 4-mountain ski area Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, part of Ski Amade.
You can enjoy 123 kilometers of slopes and 44 modern cable cars and lifts while skiing in the sun. Hauser-Kaibling represents the eastern entrance to the 4-mountain ski area Hauser-Kaibling / Planai / Hochwurzen / Reiteralm.

We recommend a winter hike along the Dachstein glacier to the Dachsteinwarte. Snowboarders shouldn't miss the “Superpark Dachstein” snowboard park on the Dachstein glacier.
Relaxation after an eventful day of skiing is provided in the small relaxing area or in the sauna at the Prenner Alm.

The impressive natural backdrop and the well-developed network of routes and paths make every cyclist's heart beat faster. The Schladming-Dachstein region offers countless opportunities for hiking or climbing tours with its waterfalls, mountain lakes, alpine pastures and forests.

With the Dachstein-Tauern Summer Card, your vacation pays off twice. From the end of May to mid-October you can enjoy all services free of charge or at significant discounts.

On hot summer days you can cool off in the swimming pond next to the cabin or in the Schladming adventure pool. An 18-hole golf course in the Dachstein-Tauern region rounds off the leisure activities on offer and means your holiday will never be boring.
In front of the cabin, comfortable garden furniture invites you to linger in the sun while the children let off steam in the playground.
